Reșița Reductoare participation to SMM International Trade Fair - 2010
A delegation of REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE Company formed by Mr. Zoltan KORKA - Executive Director, and Mr. Aurel BĂRA - Technical Director, will be present in Hamburg during 7- 10 September 2010 in order to attend the Edition 2010 of SMM International Trade Fair. SMM International Trade Fair, dedicated to Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology, will bring together the 360° panorama of the shipbuilding industry under one roof and will also give to exhibitors the unique opportunity to raise their international profile.
The Trade Fair from Hamburg attracts decision makers from the full spectrum of the global shipbuilding community and every corner of the world, and offers to the participants the chance to meet with industry leaders and interact with the sector's brightest minds.

Audit of quality management system at RESITA REDUCTOARE
REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE - Company of UCM group, continues the series of successes in the field of quality management systems certification.
These days, at REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE took place the LRQA surveillance audit, the first audit of the new certification cycle.
After completing the surveillance audit, no unconformity was noticed, this proving that all requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standard are observed, certifying the fact that the Quality Management System is efficient, REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE providing thus to its customers, highest quality products, obviously of high safety level in operation.
RESITA REDUCTOARE are useful for train and subway transportation
RESITA REDUCTOARE, a company of UCM group, get the annual visa for Railroader Supplier, which certifies that the company has the capacity to produce and supply, under controlled quality conditions, certain categories of critical railway products by observing the technical conditions specific in the field of train and subway transportation.
Also, the Romanian Railways Authority granted the Railway Technical Homologation Certificate for other seven critical railway products, such as cylindrical gears fitted on bogies, for the following types of locomotives and operating speeds:
- EL 5100 kW and EL 3400 kW, v= 120 km/h
- EL 5100 kW and EL 3400 kW, v= 160 km/h
- EL 5100 kW v= 200 km/h
- EL 5100kW- M, v= 160 km/ h
- DEL 2100 HP, v= 100 km/h
- DEL 2100 HP, v= 120 km/h
- DEL 2100 HP, v= 140 km/h
During the homologation process was proved successfully that the Quality Management System is used with high efficiency, also that the requirements with reference to the organization structure, technical endowments, qualification and training of personnel, control and observance of procedures and technical documentation are complied with in order to manufacture the products for which the authorization was granted.
The Delegation of RESITA REDUCTOARE at the Trade Fair "HANNOVER MESSE - 2010"
Within 19 - 23 of April 2010, a delegation of RESITA REDUCTOARE - company of UCM group, consisting of the Executive Director Dr. Zoltan KORKA and the Production Director Adrian POPA, was in Hanover to participate to Edition 2010 of the International Trade Fair "HANNOVER MESSE".
Considered as being the technological event of the year, HANNOVER MESSE is the ideal place where the experts "can take the pulse" of the latest newness in the field of industrial know-how, respectively to gather information about future economical trends.
The Fair, with a tradition of 60 years, represents the opportunity to "meet" innovative ideas, materials and technologies, developed on a platform that is able to offer complex solutions for any industrial process.
From the meetings and discussions with the present partners arose a reduced optimism as concerns future economical developments, the next months being essential for the increase of the occupational degree in the industrial field of activity.

Certification of the furnace for heat treatment with controlled atmosphere at Resita Reductoare
RESITA REDUCTOARE, Company of UCM group, continued the proceedings related to maintaining high standards in heat treatment sector and after putting into operation in 2009 of the new furnace with controlled atmosphere, it succeeded to certify this furnace, according to DIN 17.052-1, class B10.
The certification of temperature steadiness, according to the above mentioned standard, was performed in the presence of the representative of TÜV- SÜD Company of certification and inspection.
By obtaining this certification, RESITA REDUCTOARE proves the possibility of providing high quality services in the field of heat treatments.
RESITA REDUCTOARE present at Europort Fair 2009, in Rotterdam
During the 3rd 6th of November 2009, RESITA REDUCTOARE attended in Rotterdam, together with other 13 representative companies in Romanian Marine Industry, at Europort Maritime Fair 2009, one of the biggest fairs in this field worldwide.
Having as main topic, "innovation and presenting of advanced technologies", the edition in 2009 joined 870 companies from 35 countries, representing all sectors of marine industry, the fair benefiting by the interest of over 12.000 visitors.
Throughout the event, RESITA REDUCTOARE promoted its products and the services provided, had several contacts with traditional partners and established new contacts with experts in this field, having exposed products performed in RRR, both in own exhibition stand and in the exhibition stands of two partner companies from Netherlands.

Recertification of Quality Management System at REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE
REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE a company of UCM group got, at the end of July 2009, a recertification for a period of 3 years for its Quality Management System, in accordance with ISO 9001Standard - edition 2008, certificate granted by LRQA Certification Organization.
REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE makes successfully the proof that the requirement of the reference standard are observed and applied with efficiency in its field of activity: design, development, production, assembling, servicing and repair of reduction gears, also the manufacture of spare parts for industrial and marine reduction gears.
Re-acknowledging the quality of products performed by RESITA REDUCTOARE
REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE company within UCM group, renewed for a period of 5 years the Authorization of Supplier in the Railway field and obtained the Certificate of Railway Technical Homologation for the main railway products: tapered gears for direct feed of the axles F35P and F35SP at the locomotives LDH 1250 CP.
The authorization consisted in assessing the capacity of REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE to produce and supply, under controlled quality conditions, certain categories of critical railway products observing the specific technical conditions in the field of railway and underground means of transport.
It was proven successfully the efficient application of the quality system based on SR EN ISO 9000 standards, especially in observing the requirements referring to the organization structure, technical endowment, qualification and training of personnel, checking the existence and compliance with the procedures and technical documentation, necessary to perform the products for which the authorization was requested.
RESITA REDUCTOARE, the 6th presence at Hannover Messe
HANNOVER MESSE, event developed on yearly basis in Germany, became by the fame gained along the time, the most important technological event world-wide.
The exhibition specialized in industrial subcontracting and services, industrial automation, energetic technologies, reduction gears and high power transmissions, micro-technology, new technologies for the future, rejoined at the same time 13 International Industrial Fairs that took place in parallel.
RESITA REDUCTOARE was present for the 6th time at Hannover Messe, with one exhibition stand for the company products, during 20 - 24 April 2009, under national flag, within "The program of exports promotion".
About the attendance in 2009 from Hannover, the Executive Director of RESITA REDUCTOARE, Zoltan KORKA, stated: "We have gladly returned to HANNOVER MESSE, for this is the place of presenting the latest information in techniques and industry. Among the exhibitors, Resita Reductoare will also be present with an exhibition stand offering the company's products. Resita Reductoare attends for the six time these kinds of fairs, as co exhibitor, under the flag of Romania.

Technological upgrading at RESITA REDUCTOARE - company of UCM group
The company RESITA REDUCTOARE within UCM group, successfully completed the technological tests at a new heat-treatment furnace, a new investment achieved from own capital resources. The entire work raised up to the value of 130.000 Euro.
The furnace allows the company to maintain the production to a high technological standard, the process being performed in a controlled environment by a microprocessor.
Besides this technological upgrading to the account of RESITA REDUCTOARE company, it was intended to increase the machining accuracy of the gear wheels by keeping under control the thermal strains, being thus able to provide high quality services to the customers, also to reduce the costs.

French students performing practical training in REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE S.A.
Four French students are present at Resita for a time period of three months, in order to perform practical training at two of the companies within UCM group.
The action is based on the partnership continuously developed by UCM group with the University Eftimie Murgu in Resita, university that established a close friendship with several university degree organizations, well known in Europe.
This year, the experts from REȘIȚA REDUCTOARE and UCM Resita will practically train the students arrived from France in welding, logistics and numerical control machines.
It is the fourth subsequent year, when UCM group hosts practical training sessions for the French students.
